Head Amp Hookup?

Can I hookup a headphone Amp ouy of my preamp? This would eliminate an additional CD player or DAC and also may eliminate a costly stepped attenuator. I have a very nice 2 channel loudspeaker system but on occasion I would like listen to headphones. Both of my preamps have 2 line outs.

If your pre-amp has it, use the Tape loop-out jacks to connect to your headamp. Don't use the pre-out jacks.
