Sure, but would they actually be better? The HE60's pads aren't exactly epoch making.

Firmer = less soft. Yes, that is right. The artificial leatherette stuff peels like crazy, too.

I'm curious about this, too.

I like very much the comfort of the HE60 pads, I wonder how their isolating behaviour can sound with the HD650 (but I'm not a "mod" guy...

).
