HD800S vs modded HD800

I have a couple questions
 
1. What is the best/latest mod for the HD800 and how does it improve sonically on the stock HD800?
2. With that mod, how does the HD800S compare against the upgraded HD800?

The mod you're looking to compare the HD800 to the S is the SDR/SBAF mod.
I was reading people who have compared and they have said, that the only real difference they can hear sonically, is the S rolls off a little lower compared to the 800 w/ mod.
