Do the HD650 earpads and headband fit the HE60?

I don't want to wear out the original HE60 parts...
Thinking of using HD650 replacement ones instead.

The HE60 and HD650 have different snap-on bits, so they aren't directly interchangable. You'll have to peel off the HE60 pads' snap-on bits and glue them to the HD650 pads.

It's not that. The HE60 parts are incredibly difficult to track down nowadays especially the headband pad spares! I did manage to find a company who was able to sell me some spares, but they are terrible with communication (completely non-responsive at times). I have earpad spares and headband pad spares

The earpads are much easier to find, but the 80-120USD price per pair is a bit difficult to stomach.

Carl, are you sure the HD650 and the HE60 headband pads are not interchangeable? I have both headphones in front of me, but the HD650 headband pad is so difficult to take of I'm afraid of ripping the fabric. They look like they go in and out the same way, ie grip one end and pull slowly but with force; do the same with the other end.
