so, i recentrly upgraded from hd598 to hd650. i'm using an aune t1 mk2 amp/dac.
the aune has been driving my hd598 flawlessly, then again the hd598 doesn't even require an amp to sound good.
now with the hd650, i feel as if the aune is struggling to drive the hd650.
i'm sort of a newbie when it comes to amps and dacs.
i'm kind of debating if i should get a schiit asgard 2 for $150 (someone around me is selling one).
if i were to get the asgard 2, what dac should i get to compliment it?
or should i just get something different?
Also, these are the headphones i swap around:
-AKG K7XX (massdrop)
-HD 598
-HD 650
-fidelio X2
they are all open headphones.
i mainly play games with my setup. Blueray movies every now and then.
As for music, i listen to indie, psychedelic (chill), alternate pop and electronic. Mostly via free spotify (so not exactly high quality source).
