The price of the HD600 grill seems cheap compared to the HD650 price, but no less than a year ago I bought a pair for $5 or so. The HD650 grill is a more silvery color but it's also more robust and harder to dent than the HD600 grill (though this still doesn't warrant the much higher cost, which is probably due to the fact that the HD600 grills are more available as spares). This makes me consider the HD580 again...

I got my HD600 grills and HD650 cable ordered today! The cables won't be in until May 9th though...

I think the HD600 grills in black look better on the HD580 than the charcoal/silvery HD650 grills. $36.76 a grill is insane even if they are more dent resistant (I've heard people claim otherwise). Just get a $8 banana hanger if denting is a problem.

I ordered my HD650 cable on 2/13/06.

As of today, I still have not received them. Apparently they are back ordered, and have no idea when they'll be in stock...

I think the 580 stock grills look a bit cheap. The 600 grills are a lot more open, so they make them sound a bit more airy.
