The more i read the more confused i am, I find myself listening to more accoustic/classic recentley and both are within budget, the sound i require is a really wide but detailed soundstage, so where does the land lie, i have an x-can and obh-11, i will be listening from through a variety of sources,

Based on my experience with the A900 and HD595, I'm guessing the AD700 would have the wider soundstage and the HD595 would be more detailed.

Ive heard the ad700 soundstage is larger than both the a900 and hd595 but I cant say for sure since Ive never heard them.

HD595 soundstage is not very wide, more like sitting in the front row of a jazz club. It's nice but not wide, it does have good depth and placement though imo.
