HD580 vs. HD600

i ve seen Italian Opera singers using it in studio in some documentary.

No. My HD580s are stock, as are my HD600.

The pads are identical. Only difference is the grilles. About to go out for some breakfast, maybe I'll try it later.

The DT770 2005 consumer edition is as good as the HD580, but has a complete different sound sig (bright vs. warm).

Thanks Tiemen, for the clarification...I like bright for music editing purposes, though I am also sensitive to sibilance. However I need to hear it when I'm editing my own songs, so I can edit it out! I'll probably keep an eye out for some old 240DF's as well.
