Hi,
I got round to picking up some HD555s today, but the cable is far longer than I need for any of my uses - I'm going to be using them for my laptop and iPod mainly, so a 3 metre thick cable is just going to get in the way.
According to the Sennheiser box + site, the cable is replaceable:

I don't mind following these, but I can't seem to source a shorter cable. Ideally, it would be around a meter in length, with a 3.5mm stereo connector as opposed to the larger one it currently has to save me using the adapter.
What are my options? Are there any for sale in retail? If not, would it be possible to get someone to make me a cable - how much would this cost and who should I talk to?
