I am looking for a replacement for my excellent HD5. Not that there is anything wrong with it , it's an excellent player but a bit battered now and the main problem is I do a lot of running and it jumps as it has a hard drive.
Am I right in saying the new sonys are all flash drive?
I was looking at the NWZA818B ( the 8 gig model) and the NWZA892K ( 16 gig model) .
Four questions
1. are these just as heavy as the HD5
2. Is the sound quality just as good
3. I gather sonicstage is no longer used , does it have a software program to rip the cds and can you still have seamless music eg. Dark Side Of The Moon so the songs flow into each other.
4. Can you create playlists on the player without the software
