HD414 Pads + Porta Pro

Yes, the HD414 pads do fit on the PortaPros as far as I know.
I do not know the answers to your two other questions though. Hope it helped.

Yes they do. I have them on my portapros but molded them by cutting a quarter size hole in them and putting them on reversed so the thick foam is on my ear. I also cut about 1/4" off around the whole pad to make them smaller.

That looks great! Can you describe what they do to the sound? Did you order them straight from Sen USA?

Thanks again

Hi,

I haven't really tried them with the stock pads on (these are my father's) - but they sound good. I imagine it'd sound quite similar to stock, since they're about the same consistency and depth over the driver (just bigger pads, supporting the ear more).

I ordered them online, and got them within a week for around $15 shipped. Considering Senn's slow track record, I thought I might as well buy it on eBay.

I got them from this auction:

Comfortwise, they are the comfiest superaural I've tried yet,

. Omega IIs feel much better though..

I just read this thread and I must say I am amazed just by the look of the pictures. How exactly is sound quality affected by this mod? Do you just put the HD414 pads over the old pads without using a knife at all?

I've been wondering what to do the the HD414 pads I have since I perfer the todd flats on my sr225. Are the pads hole modded or stock? They certainly make the already curious looking portapros even more striking.

You can stick the HD414 pads onto the Portapros without modification. Very easy. Just be wary of the Portapro's pad spikes, though.
