I've never heard of a HD212 non pro and I don't see one on Sennheiser's website.

You might have just seen a mislabeled HD212pro.

yeah I was thinking that might be the case, dell is selling them for 59.99 which seemed low for dell and only lists as hd212

HD212 pro is the only model..there aint 2 versions in the market.

In any case u are better off buying HD205 or directly HD215.

unfortunately dell is limited in what they carry, think its the hd201 hd212 px100 and hd555, I have an account with dell and am about to order an xps system which will give me 12 months no interest, unfortunately we don't have the money otherwise to buy anything
