HD201 question

From what I remember when I had them, I don't think you will have a major problem with them staying on your head. I could be wrong though.

that depends on your head, the best bet imo would be go into a store try them on, and do some basic "skateboarding movements" aka faking and seeing if they stay on.

They don't stay too well on my head (small head) or at least it doesn't cover my ears very well. For skateboarding it will stay on your head though.
Have you considered some buds?

I don't think you need to worry about them staying on your head, unless it's super small. They're not as clampy as some Sennheisers, but they're not loose.

I have a smaller head IMO, but they feel extremely loose for me. NO WAY will they work for skateboarding. Get Koss KSC75's for audio quality; otherwise, Nike headphones are lightweight and pretty comfortable. Senny's twist-to-fit ear buds work well too.

So much for my advice OP. Sorry, I know I have a large noggin, but didn't know it was that large. Whatever you do, don't get the AH-D2000.

try the HD205's instead, not only for the clamping effect, but just becasue I think the HD201 are one of the most hideous sounding things in headphones history! That's a little harsh, but they're te l;east favorite headphones in my 20+ seen collection, including my PX30's!

Try either the 205's or 202's. The 202's will clamp better.
