Sorry to post again on such short notice, but I feel that this thread might be coming from a different angle and is a bit more specific.
So I want to replace the stock (steel) cable on my HD 25 cans with a new premo (copper) wire, but need the wire to fit the groove in the headband. I have heard rumors about having to flip the cups for the HD 650 cable... I'm looking for the best cable that fits the groove and has the proper dimensions to reach both cups without flipping, yet bringing out much cleaner sound and better bass. Don't mind a DIY, but definitely don't prefer it cause I'm a nub. Ya dig?

EDIT: Going with the HD 600 cable, just heard on another post that it is BEST for fitting the sound and fitting the groove
