My brother got an M5 for Christmas, and I got the X5. He didn't want the video playback or a color screen, so he opted for the vanilla M5. Anyways, whenever I plug my X5 into either my mom's (XP Professional) or his (2000 Pro) computer, everything works fine. When he plugs his M5 into my mom's, it works fine as well. However, when he plugs his M5 into his own computer, it will not show up as a drive in My Computer. It's recognized as a USB device, but I can't find a way to actually open up the drive to transfer his music onto the player.

I should also add that he's using Service Pack 4. I can't think of any other relevant information at this time...

are you using the usb-host slot on the m5 on the side? or out of the subpack?
