So I've gone from the E2cs, then I got the SE530s. I want to upgrade to something better, if there is anything out there.

About me:
1) Love Hip-Hop - Boomy drums and heavy brass (Think Just Blaze)
2) I am a basshead

Source - EMU0404 -> Fio

What do you guys have for me, what suggestions? How about something that's custom molded? Prices please. Forgot to mention - IEM only

sennheiser ie8
westone 3
or sennheiser HD800 if you're willing to spend 1k+ $ on a single headphone.

Having both the SE530 and Turbine Pro, you may want to try out the Turbine Pro, if only for the bass aspect of it. You do lose a decent amount of detail though. After listening to the Turbine Pro for awhile, the SE530 will sound like the most balanced IEM you will have ever heard.

I think the only step up that you will be happy with is going into custom monitors. The Westone 3's do have a better soundstage and bass, but if you liked the mids of the 530's, i wouldn't buy them. If bass is your favorite aspect, i would try out the westone 3's honestly. I'm not a basshead, but the westone 3's bass is great if you like that extra "boom."

Apparently some people have remolded their SE530s to a six driver custom with good results, the so called SE6X3. You might want to explore that possibility as well.

I have yet to hear a better sounding IEM than SE530. I even prefer SE530 to ES3X. I say save up for JH13 Pro, if you want a real upgrade and not just a side step.

I agree. If you want a real upgrade save up for some nice customs. The top of the line customs.

There are few different options to get extra boom from your SE530 like download SRS WOW SANDBOX software on your pc then sync with any DAP and it will give extra boom to your SE530. Other is to buy ALO 18AWG Cryo dock(if using ipod) and tomahawk AMPs which will bring out the low end. Also you can buy Klipsch Custom 3(highely recommended because it has rich detailed mids as SE530, clear highs, bass is rich and deep), TF10Pro, IE8 or W3 for extra bass without loosing the details but to add more drivers and remolding the SE530 willbe great option.

I was in your exact same position. I had 530's for several years, and was seduced by the incredible mid-range and vocals. but realized I was missing a power low end, and the high end roll off of the 530's was starting to drive me nuts.

got the IE8's last week. burned them in for 50 hours. I am beyond amazed and the amount of bass, but also how clean it is. the bass lines in all of my rock tunes are consistent and tight. kick drums thump in my chest(I have no idea how they do that).

I have absolutely found IEM Nirvana
