Has anyone heard both a Singlepower Extreme and a Zana Deux?

My budget for an amp is $2000 or less (won't spend that unless i have to). I'm a tube kind of guy from my listening experiences. I prefer highs and mids over bassy.

I'm wondering if I should just put my name on the list for a zana deux (at $1900) or buy a singlepower extreme with a few options (at around $1300). Not sure where I could listen to both of these amps before purchase. I'll be the first to admit I'm "blindly" making a purchase based on other's opinions (I don't really have a choice, do I?).

I've heard both. Both are excellent amps and you would probably be very happy with either. I would be.

The only way I know to hear them both short of buying both is to attend a meet where both are present. That has been the case in 3 out of 4 of my last meets and that's where I've heard both. If you come to CanJam, you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to hear both.
