Has anyone gotten warranty service from Westone without a receipt?

My W60s are definitely experiencing some problems. None of the drivers are blown (confirmed by going stepwise through a tone generator), but the right IEM doesn't play at the same volume as the left one. I've changed out the cables, swapped IEMs on the same cable, swapped IEMs in different ears, and cleaned out the audio port of both.

Is there a way to maybe do a deeper clean of the ports, like open the casing or something?

I bought these from a store while travelling in Japan about a year ago. I remember getting a thin paper receipt but now I can't find it.

Has anyone had any luck with Westone in regards to warranty service without a receipt?
