I recieved my Harmony Design Ear 90 a few hours ago, and it sounded (of course) a lot better than the headphone socket of my old Sony CDP (called CDP 497)

The sound gained detail, and the bass got both tighter and deeper. The amp is also well built, and I love the smooth feeling (and the exellent performance) of the volume pot.

Well, this is my first amp, and I really can't compare it to anything else, but I'm satisfied, and with a better source (NAD C541i?) I think I'll be getting a really nice setup.

(I'm using a pair of HD600s, and the amp is connected to my Sony CDP with Harmony Design interconnects (costing approx. USD 35 for a 0,75 m terminated pair).

I will...

I forgot to mention that the amp improved the soundstage... Playing computer games became a LOT more fun as the 3D-positioning improved drastically.
