Spring Forward is the most evil day in the world (when you set your clocks ahead an hour), Fall Back is where it's at though. I usually only get about 7hrs of sleep a night so this hurts, though I guess it's not so bad if it were yesterday it would be 10:15am and I'd be at work an hour longer at this point.

We change on the 25th. It would be better if we all changed on the same day !!!

Just one more reason I want to move to Arizona. Sanity prevailed in their legislature and they stay on the same time all year long. They seem to get by just fine staying on the same time; why can't the rest of the country?

Yes, it would. Last year they changed it so we now do it the first weekend in March. I think this is ridiculously early.

The purpose of changing it was presumably to save energy, i.e. when people get home from work it will still be light out so they won't have to turn on their lights right away. Of course now it's dark again when you wake up in the morning (at least for me) so you have to turn on the lights in the morning. I think a study was done last year that indicated that the change actually resulted in higher energy consumption.

They should have left it the way it was for the first weekend in April, or better yet, changed it back to the original time of the last weekend in April.

except you have to keep track with the rest of the country...seems weird that during the summer we're in the same time as cali...but in the winter we're one hour ahead...at least my folks live in hawaii so we're 3 hours ahead year round...
