That is a great idea. I have an unopened bottle of Lagavulin 16 in the back of the liquor cabinet. It is guarded by a couple of bottles of Laphroaig 10, brave warriors who are all that remain of a case. Their main purpose is to keep me from the Lagavulin, but I think that I can sneak past them. Fuente and Beethoven are also on the menu. I have an SACD of the 9th that I haven't unwrapped yet!


Every day is worth celebrating.

Dang, foiled by the Laphroaig again! It is ok, though. One of the sentries is seriously wounded!

Actually it was a rather long and painful day, so I toned down the celebrating. Arturo and Ludwig will have to wait until tomorrow (and believe you me, I have the crosshairs set on that obstinate bottle at the back of the shelf).

A toast: I look to the future, and it looks as bright as the new dawn. Some may not agree, but I will suggest that they are facing the wrong direction!
