i have modified ps vita with henkaku, natively runs PS Vita. Psp and PS1 games, the unlocking of the psp mode and using a patched micro sd card, now can play mame (60% works), snes, gameboy advance, pc engine, megadrive, also supports bluetooth audio as well, i even rip my own original ps1 and psp umds from my collection to be played on my ps vita 2000.

i also done the same with playstation (vita) tv and connected with dual shock ps3 controller, so small, even take it to work for a gaming session during lunch time or at home on my tv ( photograph is from 2018 at my office)

Ahh, emulator gaming! Yes! Must look into these, I mostly use my phone and it runs things well even up to some Gamecube titles (sometimes with BT controller and HDMI out too). These look fun and worth a punt for the cost.

I havent updated this thread but there are a whole bunch of new handhelds out now that have even better ability. I still feel my GPD XD plus is the best emulation device but the newer handhelds seems to be getting closer with better processing. Will post about some of them soon

Kind of a cool idea but the only issue I have with them is the limitatation of the cart based gaming. My LDK has easily has a library over 4K games. Stuff you cant play on that like a PS one games. But I am sure someone will crack that and start doing emualtion on it. Might be more interesting then.

I have the entire library of N64 games playing on my GPD plus. Really worth getting one if you guys are interested in the best emulation. Though due to limitations in the emulators while good for android is not perfect. I would say about 90% of the games works great but some more demanding ones have frame issues Starfox Golden eye. But otherwise it is a blast to play some old time N64 games on the go.

The newer gen emulator devices are supposed to be similar in performance but again not perfect.
