I'd be interested in this as well, the best I have able to find is ordering custom made end plates from www.frontpanelexpress.com. If you decide to look at ordering one from them, use the pdf file attached on the hammond site to get the exact measurements of the originals along with screw hole locations.

They're kind of pricy, depending on what you want them to do with the end plates. Figure on spending around $11.00 per panel. The pricing schedule that I got was:

Preparing/finishing - $7.02
2.0mm Aluminum Natural - $0.37
Height: 22.86mm Width: 53.98mm - $1.55
Thru-Hole with countersunk - 2 x $0.86
Tool Change - $1.06

That's a total of $11.72 for just one panel without anything fancy. You could probably beat that by heading to your local metal shop with the parameters from the Hammond datasheet and asking them to cut you a few from some aluminum stock.

I called them and they sent me three of them for free..... It's amazing what a simple phone call can get you when you try.

I tried to talk Hammond into sending me a couple for my 1455C, but they referred me to a distributor.

The part number for the 1455N end panels is 1455NAL-10 for a ten-pack in natural aluminum. It's 1455NALBK-10 for black. Allied doesn't stock them and Hammond gave a two week lead. You'll have to call the 800 number to get a price quote from Allied. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Neither Mouser nor Newark have them listed on their web sites although Hammond recommended them in addition to Allied.

Incidentally, the end panels only seem to be sold as 10-packs.
