Had A Strange Dream Last Night...

I dreamt I was about to go somewhere with my iPod and MDR-EX71's, and I hit up some tunes before putting the headphones on, and all of a sudden the music from the tiny headphone buds was playing as loud as speakers! So I spun and spun and spun the click wheel and, after about 20 seconds of furious spinning, the volume went down to normal earbud levels.

So, fellow Head-Fiers, what does it mean? I think it's a sign, a warning about hearing loss, but this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. My ears are pretty sensitive and I'm very careful about listening volumes.

So... discuss. Anyone have any sage advice? Anyone else ever have a dream involving headphones?

(P.S. - I don't really want to make a whole thread just to ask this, but supposing I wanted to join a team like, say, Team College-Fi, is there a College-Fi head honcho I need to talk to, or am I allowed to just drop it in my sig?)

It probably means you had too many foot long subs before bed.

And you can just pop it in your sig.

I had a dream last night about how I opened a mysterious box in my living room to find a pair of K701's! I grabbed my iPod, plugged them in, and turned the volume all the way up. I started rocking out, only to find that they were barely audible. I plugged a CMoy in, and then turned the volume all the way up, and it was still quiet. I was shocked, stunned, and appaled.

Eventually somewhere around there my dream changed... I think the last thing I read before I went to bed was someone saying the K701's were moderately hard to drive.

its funny i had a dream i got the 650s with cardas cable and headroom amp upgrades and i woke up thinking i was wearing them. Turns out i woke up wearing my 555s hehehehehe, we can dream tho. Dreaming is cheaper too

Whoa. I had a Philly cheesesteak for dinner. Creepy. Although the last thing I ate before going to sleep was a graham cracker.
