Sounded horrible out the box but steadily improves. Granted I don't have a decent amp, this baby is pretty sweet

Atm, just about even with M50s. I'm sure that'll change within a couple hours or so. 
They dont sound horrible with my pa2v2 but I know they can definately stretch further 10fold

I have the FiiO E7 & E9 combo ready for it though.

You're right but I currently have no funds so I'll hold off for a month or two. 
However, unamped through my laptop with foobar2k songs sound absolutely heaven-like.
