Title says it all, what video game accomplishment(s) are you most proud of?

I'll list mine, at least the ones I can think of now:

1. Beating Super Metroid in 57 minutes 38 seconds. By far my favorite game.
2. Beating TMNT4 on the SNES with a friend of mine in just under 19 minutes.
3. Finishing Contra and Battletoads on the NES on the same night for a 20$ bet.
4. More recently, finishing God of War 2 on titan mode without pulling my hair out.

Anything goes, console, arcades, pc, you name it.

Beating Halo 2 Legendary (Solo Campaign) w/o any walkthroughs/cheats/stupid Envy skulls. With a game pad. The first time around.

Probaby the hardest game I've tried, period.

I beat Resident Evil 1 with a knife. Only to find out, the magazine was holding a pre April Fools (it was March)...scary thing is, people in Japan did it all the time, it took me an entire 1.5 months, cause when teh april issue came out, I beat it a week prior, wondering What I did wrong.....when I found out it was an April Fools joke...I've never looked at Resident Evil the same...ever again. And to this day, is one of the reasons I don't play video games...

What did the magazine say would happen if you completed the task?

I beat Guitar Hero 2 on hard in 4.5 hours (got stuck once or twice) on the first night I bought it. The following day at school was a complete haze.

*edit* I should mention that I did play GH1, but hadn't touched the game in about a year since I borrowed that copy

I tried that and miserably failed once the hunters started appearing (there wasn't enough herb/first-aid spray to help me last long enough).

I was one of the best awpers in the country for counterstrike source for about six months during the first couple of years it was out. I would regularly go 150-3 or so in pubs. I played Cal M and was invited to i after going .500 against some of the more famous awpers in the world during a private match but declined due to time constraints. Quit shortly after. I just picked it up again and while I'm not quite as good, I can still go 15:1 k/d ratio in pubs.

Wow that is great! I envy you. The best I can get is 4:1, but that rarely happens.

Get a good mouse/mousepad and if you see someone with a ping of 5 change pubs

You'd be surprised how many cmdraters and other subtle ways of cheating there are out there.

Lately I've been enjoying scouting. So much harder, I can only go around 4-5:1 with it as it takes multiple shots (and it doesn't register above the nose area). Being an awper, I hate when people complain about it, but it really, really is a lot easier.

There's a difference between someone who lives next to the server and someone who clearly isn't where you shoot though. Especially when you see blood spots all over their face but they have 100 health and you're in a 100tic server

It's getting better though as more and more servers prohibit certain cl_xxxx commands that alter gameplay. It was really bad when it first came out.

edit: I forgot to say that I've never met anyone better than me at guitar hero. I know they exist (some videos on youtube blow me away), but I've never actually met anyone. I play it like a piano though, which could be considered cheating as I AM going to a conservatory for piano performance....Jordan is a peice of cake compared to Rachmaninoff!

Beating Angband (followed by beating Nethack). The first one took about 2 years of constant play to actually pull off.

There's some other stuff as well but it doesn't really matter in comparison.

Yeah I hate it when people complain about the awp, or disable it. It adds to the fun when theres a good awper imo.
