I love great sounding old recordings from the 50's, 60's, and 70's in particular... I suspect vacuum tubes have something to do with it...
One such cd is on the Novus label and is entitled "The Blues: Nina Simone - Novus Series 70'"
It also says RCA and BMG on the cd.
This is an awesome warm sounding recording. I listen to it just to hear the *tone* sometimes.
