I work inside a quiet office environment and am looking for headphones that do not isolate to the point of not being able to hear my telephone, but closed so that it doesn't leak out sound to to the coworkers around me.  Edit:  I do not want anything heavy like 840 and prefer not to amp.  Is there is headphone that sounds as good as my HD650 that is closed that meets such criteria?  
 
Remember: I need to be able to hear my office telephone!!!

If you can wear headphones with vinyl coated pads, and you don't need bass that goes BOOM BOOM BOOM but is instead heard clearly but not exactly felt, I'm gonna recommend the old version of the Fostex T40, which may be tricky to find at a good price. The MkII version is not as good, and has oval rather than round ear pads, so it;s easy to recognize the difference.
 
Actually, the T50RP doesn't really leak much either, even though it has some tiny vents, so that could work too.
 
In either case, it's recommended to modify them slightly by adding some stuffing behind the drivers. See the ortho roundup thread for details.

The Senn HD 25-1 II gets a lot of respect around here, and would probably work well for you as long as you find them comfortable.  They are over ear, not around ear, though.
 
Also, what are you using to amp them at work?  Some of the advice on here so far have been very hard-to-drive headphones.

Either the dt-250 or k240-mkii would work, both have velor pads for long term comfort. The DT-250 is more neutral than the k240 (not saying much there), where the k240 is more, uh, groovy. But if groovy is your thing, they're nice.
 
The dt250's isolate a bit more, but not a huge amount. I spose the k240 can be had for a considerable bit less.

Best work headphones. And yes, it does share similarities to the HD650s.

AKG K271mkII/272, Audio Technica W5000. Mmm. Don't care for the 840s that much... But if you indeed like your 650s that much, they're the closest I've run into.

You definitely want to look into the Fischer Audio FA-003. Look up my review if your interested. It's a great sounding closed headphone that sounds like an open headphone that costs at least two times as much.

I find HD25 very uncomfortable,I prefer PX100,Px200 to HD25.
I cant comment on the sound cuz I heard HD25 only one mins or so and I took 'em off my head.(very uncomfortable)
You have to try 'em , maybe this is not the case for you.

840's are too heavy, and looking for something that doesn't leak sound.  does HD25 leak sound?  what about esw-9?  By the way, I want unamped phones...  do HD25 or esw-9 need amping?

HD25 has a few different versions. I've tried the "SP" version that has a single headband: it isolates quite well, maybe even too well for your purposes.
Have also tried ESW9 before. It does not isolate so well (may be a little better than stock earbuds), and sounds great unamped. IMHO, it would be great for your intended use.
