I've found this nice looking hybrid headphone amp:

Not much of technical info is available, nor there is price listed anywhere, but it is definitely tasty looking.

Also check this guy's other amps. Very neatly finished.

Wow, wonder if it sounds as good as it looks...

Well that's a totally pointless circuit design. 12AX7 as a cathode follower of some sort, driving a mediocre obsolete NE5534 op-amp which then powers the output transistors. The stupid, it burns.

I'm wondering how would you classify the Heed CanAmp design then. Damn fine sounding amp despite ages old design topology and ancient NE opamp.

I'll shoot Edgar an email on how much it costs. I still have relatives living in Slovakia, I might strike some deal.

Wrong forum, but this CDP looks really nice. There's something about wood...

Please post the price when you get it. Nice woody!

Wow, the headphone amp and the TP105VR integrated are really slick. Might be an old design but that doesn't mean anything, some old design sound really really good, that's why plenty of people restore old valve amps from Marantz, McKintosh, etc...

If you send an email for the price, please ask where it can be bought as well. I'm afraid it's probably sold only through audio stores because they don't seem to have any facility to order directly aside from their email address.
