Hi,

I'm looking for a great DAC to use on my desktop, solely for USB to my PC, although the ability to control tidal directly from the DAC would be a big plus.

- Good pairing for Audeze LCD-XC
- Full hardware MQA decoding
- Sexy looking! (not essential)

I was veering towards the Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital, but wanted some expert thoughts, opinions and advice before pulling the trigger.

I have the S2 and I like it very much. I don't have a lot to compare to other than the Audioquest Dragonfly Red but I believe the S2 to be a step up and the MQA functionality works beautifully. I was also able to get an LPS off of ebay for around $50 that gave it a nice boost as well.
