Yep, appx. 3am for me on the west coast...not sure I'll make it. If it were earlier that'd be fine, or even if it were later at like 5am I could just get up really early, but 3am is a dead zone for me on a Monday night

i didn't think you s. hemisphere folk could see it...

i'll probably stay up and watch...i love this kind of stuff...wanted to be an astronomer as a kid...gonna try and take some pix of this

Heh, first day of school in a couple hours, but I'm so far behind in doing my summer reading homework that I figured I might as well stay up and take pictures of the eclipse. My gf is really into astronomy, so I'll show her the pictures and make her proud of me.

I gotta admit...the anticipation is pretty exciting.

Not exactly like trying to stay up for Santa's arrival, but close.
