I got the 225s a few days ago, and just noticed that the wires going into the housings are loose--I'm able to push them in a ways. Honestly, I can't remember whether they were like this upon initial inspection, but I am sure that nothing has happened to them other than wearing them. There are no flaws in the sound (the wires seem fully connected). Is this how they are?

Thanks.

Yes, they are OK like that. There is a rubber 'safety plug' on the wire that prevents stress on the wire/board connection. Any 'stress' is spread around and not restricted to a particular point. They used to glue the safety plug to the inside but this creates stress at that point where the wire would flex at one spot.
