Grado SR80i vs. Audio-Technica ATH-AD700

What do you think? Which one is better? I'm mostly listening metal genres (trash death black etc.) and I want to use it with my phone but someday I'll buy sth from cowon. You can give me other suggestions but unfortunately i don't have big budget

The M50 is one of the most overrated 'phones here on Head-Fi. Get the Grado. They should suit your preferences.

The Grado is great, but it's on-ear, which is a comfort issue--you will love or hate that, so that's up to you. The sound is excellent, but comfort is the big hurdle.
The M50 is over-rated and really just an average headphone with a price tag that doesn't match it anymore (it should be a $60~80 phone tops, brand new).
