I'm at college, and for the first month, all I had were my Sennheiser 212pro's, EX71's, and Portapro2's. Of these, the PP2's were obviously the best.
I went home last weekend and used my SR60's. I didn't bring them down to school because with all the fans blowing in my dorm room (no AC) there would be too much ambient noise for these phones to shine.
I was BLOWN AWAY when I put them on. I had forgot how good they were! I thought I had grown to like my PP2's better, but I was wrong. The bass with the SR60's is just so much better. It goes lower, has more detail, and doesn't cover up the mids. Oh, and the mids, they sound FANTASTIC!
In my opinion, the SR60's are worth every penny. Now that the weather has gotten cooler, and the fans aren't blowing, these are my main phones.
Now I really want to hear the MS-1s.
My wallet told me the other day that he hates all you guys.
