Hello people.
Long time since I've posted here now. I finally decided to buy me a pair of Grado's to my collection. (Audio-Technica AD2000, K81 DJ's, Proline 750's + I've owned A900's and DT880-2005)

The AD2000's is my main headphone for listening and I love it very much. When I first put the SR60's on, I was chocked of how good they sounded. Compared to the AD2000's they doesn't have as much high frequencies and is also more muddy. Still, they sound damn good for under one third of the price I paied for the AD2000's. The SR60's actually has more quantity of bass than the AD2000's and the low end is also very crisp and clean. The biggest flaw for these beauties is as mentioned above - not very much detail in the high end area. The music is presented in a VERY direct way, and makes me dream away while listening. Hm.. what more can I say. The comfort is superb despite lying ON the ears. Soft pads and nice fit.

Very pleased with them so far

The Grado SR60 is a great price point/Grado House sound combo. But it just leads you on through Grado upgrade-itis. Its hard if not impossible to stop there. In the mean time, enjoy the music.

They were my first and only real quality audio purchase in years. I love those headphones. I have a large head due to swedish ancestry and these headphones are perfect. They are extremely comfortable even while wearing glasses.

For the $70 I paid, they have to be the best purchase I have made under $100 in a long time.

SR60s are the gateway drug to the hard stuff.

The teeming masses and their iPod buds have nooooo idea what they're missing with even this modest investment.

I have the Alessandro cousin to the SR-60, the MS-1; and I find that I quite often reach for the plastic little brother also! Sometimes the MS2i are just too open and serious for just havin' some in-your-face fun!

I went from SR-60 to MS2i (after a month) and I do use them almost 50/50 BUT that more because of different uses (MS2i at home and SR-60 in the office or as a portable phone) as I do think the MS2i offer quite a bit more (the SR-60 are pure fun, but the MS2i are fun/musical + analytical)

What does the "i" stand for in "MS2i"? My first purchase were some SR-60s, then later moved on to some Senns, but I miss my 60s and was interested in trying out some of the Alessandros.
