So,how do those sr-80 perform in games? simple games, like warcraft3,and more"sound bases" games, like counterstrike etc.?

morover,i read that they are uncomfy...if im buying the pair vwap is selling, with senn pads, will i be satisfied? What other pads should i try?

anything else on those phones?
Quick pros and cons?
And how do they compare to 225(their price differece is big tho/)
Thank you.

I use them out of my soundcard for 1st person shooters and WC3 all the time, the soundstage on grados kick ass so their really good with games. I also find them very comfortable once broken in.

I found the pinpointing abilities of the SR80 very average, or even below average for the price. Sounds good though. Not my favourate gaming phones by a long shot but can be used as one, should work with most soundcards.

the sr80 is great for gaming. the sound card gain may be a little on the low side, though. hook up the soundcard to an inexpensive receiver, and it makes a world of difference (a lot of the hiss goes away). you should like the Senn pads. I myself prefer the cloth covers. but then again, i put the sr80 srivers inside an Aiwa Ak100 and am using the Beyer DT831 pads, so comfort is no longer an issue.
