Grado Sighting!

At first I thought it was a PS-1 but it's hard to tell. It looks like there may be a finish on it which would point to something like the RS-1. Anyone wanna take a guess?

how can you say that is a ps-1 if you have them with you ?
it is not a ps-1 and it's quite clear thing it isn't to my eyes

I actually saw the cover on a listening station board in Tower and because of a bit of fading and the lighting in there I was like "totally PS-1!" and then when I got home and looked it up on Amazon I could tell they were wood.

It's an RS-1, so I'm told by someone who was involved in the recording process.

Must be the way it is photographed because I swear my RS-1's have a larger bowl height than depicted

If you look closely at the bails and the sliding pins, you will see the pins are square and the bails (that hold the earcups) are the metal ones, as the RS-1 has. Also note the bolt on the bail. The RS-2 has the plastic bails and the round pins as on the lower end Grados.
