im looking at my 325s and im interested in snipping the cords , attaching a new apple shuffle to the band up top
any suggestions?
ive never touched headphones in this way and im worried about destroying them , if theres any links to anyone who has already done a mod like this id enjoy reading them
also im curious how i would go aboutputting back on a mini jack?
i see these cables on these threads, are there particular jacks you buy that dont require soldering?
thanks!

Maybe I misunderstand, but you want to actually attach an iPod shuffle to the SR-325s? I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing but it wouldn't be impossible.

Regarding the jacks, I"m not aware of any that don't require soldering. There may be one out there that uses a mechanical clamping action but I've only seen those on RCAs, not mini.

I think the most discrete way of doing this would be to route the wires around the headband and down into the drivers. I'd remove the aluminum enclosures and rotate them 180 degrees, this would make things neatest but of course would result in the lettering being upside down
