Hi! I have the opportunity to get a RS-2 SH right now but i dont know if i should because i'm thinking if MS2i could be better for classical. Since i'm pretty sure that there's no other thread comparing these head to head i'm asking pretty straight forward. Which one would you choose and why?

About one year ago I was going through a "Battle of the Twos" where I was trying to determine between MS2i and RS-2. I went with the MS2i because it was a sure match to my MS-1. But; part of what I got from all of the study was that RS-2 would most likely be better for classical.

I haven't heard the two of them side by side, but the RS-2 seems to have the edge in soundstage, resolution, retrieval of detail and bass.

Again; from what I remember from my study; I believe the RS-2 is the better bet for a classical can.

MS2i > RS-2 IMO, considering the price difference too.

I don't know about the HP-1000, but MS2i is the best bet for classical besides the GS1000.
