we must get together and do something about this!! no flat pads!!! no bowls!! we need pads that put the weight on the head and not on the ear!! the ear is not designed to support weight!!! and the pads seriously do seem to be doing damage to the cartelige in my ear... i cannot tolerate this anymore... we must unite!! and get some that are actually comfortable!! i don't care if grado doesn't want to make some comfortable ones!! we must find someone willing to. after all.. there is money to be made here... we just need to find someone willing to make it.

i cant stand phones that put the wieght on the ear.. the can touch my ears.. but i do not like my ears being crushed. and the vwap pads destroy the soundstage. what little there is.

I don't notice the soundstage problems that you are talking about.

Bend the bar. They shouldn't put much weight on your ears, let alone crush them. They do though have to touch. Is there anything you want to say about your childhood?

Please experiment. I tried Memory Foam pads, but failed. Maybe you can come up with something totally different. Please though, no socks.

YEAH.. the damn socks didn't work.. i WILL find someone willing to do this.. and if i don't i'll just take an accoustical engineering course (after i coplete other need courses) and do it my GD self... it's rediculous.. grado finds a way to make really nice sound but can't seem to make the dam things wearable... i'll be ordering some vwap pads in a day or two.. i just starting gaming again recently (like 8 hours at a time) and am just fed up with this... it bends by ears back so far that it hurts the ear canal. i don't want to buy any other headphones at this price level and i would prefer to just make these wearable.

No, but one person said they have a collapsed soundstage so it must be so!

Just buy some Senn's instead

They made grados feel like orthodontal headgear IMO

Oh I forgot, you can't buy a 'lifeless phone', even though you've never heard them.
