Hi All,

Random question...but does any of you know what the diameter of the bar Grado uses in their headphones is? I'm not talking about the adjuster bar, but the one (or two) bars hidden by the vinyl material that give the headphones their "springiness." Also, is it one or two bars?

I guess you mean width rather than diameter since it is a flat bar?

I measured mine and it is 6mm wide and 1mm thick. It is a solid one piece metal bar.

Nope, just a simple strip of metal. Grado's simplicity of design, personified.

....and ya can bend it and twist it and tweak it as many times as ya want to get it adjusted just right!
