I am a grado head. I really like their sound signature. I don't own any hi-mid inner ear monitors and was looking for help fellow head-fiers to choose between these 2 if I were able to get them for $270 range.

any info would happily appreciated.

I have owned both.  The GR10 really does keep the Grado sound sig.  You would probably love them and at $270 that is a steal.  I have read more than one review exclaiming GR10 to be "in-ear RS-1's".  Now doesn't THAT give you a hard on!
 
W4 is very different than Grado sound.  It is dark and warm.
