Sorry to post this outside of the classifieds, but just in case anyone is interested, I'm selling my detachable cable modded GH2 in the classifieds. I love them but I'm downscaling to concentrate on buying better source equipment (DAC and amps).

I `ve just been listening to GH2 and GS3000. With the Grados I am again and again landing by listening to live Rockmusic like Henrik Freischlader or this time Rolling Stones Live in Barbados. These recordings are not highend, but the GH2 smoothens the sound to a certain amount, so that the music gets enjoyable. Balance of the GH2 is ok as it is, so I don`t equalize it at all. Bass is on it`s limit with my Paltauf ESD, sometimes it seem to much for the small drivers. For me the GH2 is the best of the small Grados. Hemp was too dark and muffled for my taste even I like his look so much.
GH2 only gets problems, if you compare it with his bigger brother the GS3000. It`s not the tonality, but everything else. Stage gets bigger and deeper, separation easier and all over the frequencies it is clearer. Drums get corpus, voices are easier to understand and highs shine and last longer. It`s another class, but also costs 3 times the money.

Are the 3000e cups really that much bigger than the GH2's or is that an optical illusion?
