I believe so! But, when talking about worth, that is completely personal. You would have to decide for yourself. Ideally listening at a show or friends house would be ideal since the cost would be zero.

Anyway, good luck with your decesion.

As far as wood that is best for wooden instruments, I wonder why Grado does not use sitka spruce.

Now, THIS is a MASTERFUL set of cans. Best description I can think of is a more sophisticated RS1x. A little veil over the sound when it first arrived, ran some pink noise and sine waves through it a few times, left it playing 8 or 10 hours a day for a couple of days, and it is already revealing itself splendidly. And it sure is purty.

For the first and only time ever, I will give a shorter answer: Yes.

How much dough can you buy for one HP100SE? Hmm...

Cheers!
At least enough for a LOT of homemade bread for sure!! :scream:

They look fabulous! I feel very excited by the fact that you're enjoying your new set of cans.

Your experience basically reflects mine, I didn't leave them on playing, but after listening to them for 3-4 consecutive days sonic signature started to change to the point where the sound just 'clicked' in my head.
I still quite amazed by the fact how smooth and natural MS Pro sound, that slight low end extension is what make these headphones stand out. Not to mention how there is no treble directly into your face, they sound so effortless, humble, but also precise and aggressive when it needed to. Impessive instrument reproduction: crunchy guitars; precise and powerful drum kicks with uncolored vocals make these headphones an absolutely sublime experience listening to.

P.S: Don't tell me that serial number of your cans is 20...

Okay I won't. And would try to resist even if I knew what it is, because I just looked and it's not written on the drivers as per usual.

Wow, who would have thought buying a pair of headphones would help you keep your carbs down?

Hm, it's quite strange... I got serial numbers written inside both chambers on RS1x and MS Pro.
