got the Sony CD280

I was listening to the radio and I feel asleep is that a bad thing or does that mean they are really comfy and the volume was loud enough so i could hear it with it in front of me

they are good my first open-backed actually my first good headphone they are huge! cost $31 and my last headdies were the sonys that came with the player

It costs $23 at amazon.com. Major overcharged.

I bought these a while ago, before head-fi, from best buy. Tried them on, returned them the same day. No soundstage, treble was horrendous, bloated bass like all the cheap sony cans, and not musical at all. My sony $25 buds sound better.

Sounds like CD180s dude. They don't sell CD280s at Best Buy.

I don't know of any HMV stores here in the US. So I assume that you've got your cans in Canada. Note the $31 price tag - that's $31 Canadian, which is roughly equal to $25 US.

I'm in the US I live in Ohio I went to a Westfield mall the original price was $38.99 it was a 20% off sale and it was $31

Sorry I'm a newbie never had a diff headphone but they are much MUCH better than my old sonys that came with the player

I stand corrected on your location, CraziiNick. However, $31 is still too much $$$ for the CD280 - especially since Sony's full MSRP is only $29.99.

I'll prolly sell it to some poor sap for $31 on ebay heheh anyway how much does an AGK 271 Studio or the AKG 501 Professional Headphones
