It costs $23 at amazon.com. Major overcharged.

I bought these a while ago, before head-fi, from best buy. Tried them on, returned them the same day. No soundstage, treble was horrendous, bloated bass like all the cheap sony cans, and not musical at all. My sony $25 buds sound better.

Sounds like CD180s dude. They don't sell CD280s at Best Buy.

I don't know of any HMV stores here in the US. So I assume that you've got your cans in Canada. Note the $31 price tag - that's $31 Canadian, which is roughly equal to $25 US.

You're the first head-fier that I know of to try the CD280s.

So they're comfy you say? Tell us about the sound if you might, no biggie if you're a newbie. It'd be interesting.

Man, the CD380s are tempting for a knockaround phone.

I stand corrected on your location, CraziiNick. However, $31 is still too much $$$ for the CD280 - especially since Sony's full MSRP is only $29.99.
