My old Shure 530 have gone completely busted, and given they are out of warranty, the vendor would only replace them for 535s with a charge of £250 which is not very attractive.

I wonder if anyone got any recommendations of where to go to get them recabled, or maybe a trusted head-fier I could contact please?

As Hotzigetty posted but without the "?". Forza do excellent work at a very reasonable price, they aren't perfect when it comes to order status updates but generally are a lot quicker than most cable suppliers (generally a couple of weeks)
