Hello guys,

I was really satisfied with my Sennheiser IEMs, but the cable started wearing off after less than a year of use and the smaller cable inside started showing, after a few days the right earphone stopped working and now I'm slightly mad since the place I bought it from won't take it into warranty since it was "physically damaged" (the cable looks completely shredded). I liked a lot about these IEMs, and the build quality always looked very good, but after this experience I'm gonna switch (both my 'phones and the place I buy them from).

I don't want to go with the same phones to avoid the same experience, but I really liked their sound. I know it is not flat or balanced, but I appreciated the amazing soundstage and the powerful, controlled bass (some might find it overbearing, but I love a great amount of bass). The things I disliked are the sometimes ear-splittingly over-saturated treble, which would make male vocals (notably the lead singer of Boston, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, for example) sound really unnatural and badly recorded while listening on higher volumes.

I'm looking at RHA MA750 because they seem to have excellent build quality, especially with the cables (some report them breaking but it's less than any other IEM at this pricepoint I've searched, like Yamaha EPH-100 or Shure SE215). They also seem to be V-shaped with a good amount of bass and a great soundstage, if anyone had experience with both of these, is it a somewhat similar sound signature? I'd like to find an IEM that sounds like Momentum in-ears, perhaps with a bit less treble, but I'm really interested in amazing bass response, that's why I loved them so much. What about the aforementioned Yamaha EPH-100? Any other recommendations in this (100-150$) price range?

Thanks for the help in advance people!
