I recently purchased a SA-KI pearl SACD player which has an optical/toslink in so it can be used as a dac. Since this player sounds much better then my dacmagic, I wanna sell the dacmagic and use this. The problem is my dacmagic is used for PC audio only via usb. What good but affordable products are there so i can use to convert the usb to toslink and use my KI pearl as my dac?

edit: The optical-in can only support PCM

I have never heard it, but from reading impressions it seems to do a really nice job.

Musiland 01USD, Teralink X, Teralink X2, all have optical out...and probably many more do too....so do some reading at this site to find what you want.

Your motherboard might have optical spdif output.
