I'm looking for a pair of nice, durable power cables to replace the stock ones in my amp and DAC. I don't need any fancy schmancy here, so please don't recommend me any that I've to pay through the nose.
My budget is about 100$ for a pair of them.

I second this. You can get a $180 PC for $50 or less on the Zu Promo's eBay auction site. Audiogon also has a lot of good prices on PC's. It might be hard to find one for $100 but the deals are still amazing!

wow, thanks for all the responses. Actually I'm bit a bit noob about power cables. The Zu Birth does look interesting. I only a 3ft one because my dorm room is relatively small.

I also was advised by David @ LittleDot to take a look at the Volex. It's very cheap indeed.

I think this is the only mass PC review on the web. I searched endlessly before investing and google constantly referred me back to Markl's thread.

Haha, the review makes my liking for the Zu PC goes down a lot! The Bok is more expsensive than the Birth but it's ranked relatively low. I wonder where's the Birth?

Anyway, now I only pay attention to the Volex and Zu Birth.
